Baby Shower Centerpiece 🍼 for Boys or Girls Super Easy Diy

hi everyone welcome back to my craft room if you're new to my craft room then welcome today I am working on another baby shower centerpiece I did one a couple weeks ago for a little girl so a lot of people asked if I had any ideas for boys so this one I'm making for a little boy but of course if you wanted to make it for a little girl you just change the colors and it would be perfect for a little girl shower too so this is gonna be kind of like a little diaper cake centerpiece with a balloon in the center and this cute little teddy bear guy that I have here and I'll show you what I got I got a pack of these plain diapers I just wanted the big white and when any like designs on them or anything you know unless you have like a theme something you're doing always use a design I got some of the plain white ones I picked up one of these little candle dishes from the Dollar Tree and one of the little candle holders that I'm going to glue together here to make a little stand for it now you don't have to make the stand if you don't want to you could just set it on the table but I thought it was cute if it was up just a little bit higher and then I got some ribbon this I actually picked up at Hobby Lobby it's a 7 7 7 eighths inch satin ribbon and then I got this from the Dollar Tree and this is just a 5/8 inch and this has little blue with some weight polka dots on it I thought would be really cute for this and then you're gonna need some rubber bands just get a pack of the rubber bands that have been mixed sizes cuz you're gonna need a couple big ones and then you're gonna need some of the smaller rubber bands I had a brand new pack somewhere these are kind of old I'm hoping they're not have a break I mean while I'm doing this if I have another pack somewhere I have no idea what I did with them but I'm pretty sure I got these at the Dollar Tree I don't know if they still have these or not but I mean you can get rubber bands anywhere and then I got this cute little teddy bear at the Dollar Tree and he actually had a little red ribbon on here for Valentine's Day and I just took that off and took some of this blue ribbon you know with the white polka dots that I had and I just made him a little blue bow you know to match the decoration so set him right there and then I pick up this little it's a little pin actually that they have in the baby section at the Dollar Tree that says it's a boy they also have them let's say it's a girl so if you want to change that up and then on my dish I'm gonna use some of this like Diamond wrap stuff that I got I got actually got this at the $1 own if you don't have a $1 owner in your area you can just you know get something like this at Michael's or whatever but I picked this up and I wasn't sure what I was ever gonna use it for so I'm gonna use that but if you don't want any of the you know like the bling on to it you can just use some ribbon to decorate around your dish and I think that that is not all you're gonna need one of these little balloon holders and I got these at Hobby Lobby also so you get 20 in here and it comes with a little holder that you stick your balloon on and they were 399 but you yeah you know Hobby Lobby always sounds like they're 40% off coupons so you could use that for that and then I did cut it down a little bit depending on how high you want it there's no exact measurement or anything it was just a little too tall I thought so I just cut a little bit of it off at the bottom and that I think it's everything we need and a couple just a couple dots of hot glue because after this is all said and done all these little diapers that we're gonna wrap up here can be undone and actually used because we're not going to glue anything on to them or anything like that so let's see first I think I'll make the little the little diaper cake and that is so easy you just needs seven diapers you just take it open end here so it'll be stay nice and clean on the inside and then you just roll it up and that's all you do with these let's just roll them up like that take your rubber band and put that right in the middle and that is it that's all you got to do to make your first little diamond thing and then you want to make sure the one that you're gonna have in the center has a hole because actually your balloon holder is gonna go down in the center of that so you want to make sure that's open nice for your balloon co-developing – all right so I went ahead and I wrapped up all six of these it's not all we're gonna do is set these up this is the only tricky part because sometimes I get all thumb's here and I don't like different this but the one I was gonna use in the center already it really doesn't matter I think this one's fine let me just check make sure this goes in here nice before I put it in there all right so that's goes that one right in the center and then you're just gonna put the other six on the outside and you want to put your end that you you know like your open end here towards the inside it's very simple and like I said when this is all done this can all be taken apart you can use all the diapers and whatever this is what you're gonna need your big rubber band store could you put these around here hopefully would pull them all together and then give it a tug and then wrap it around one more time to hold this all together like so and that is it that is how you make the little diaper cake you're not gonna see any of these rubber bands because that's what we're gonna do with our ribbon here so I already cut mine out and you're just gonna take your ribbon cover up your rubber bands and get it just about where you want it here and you're just gonna put a little bit of hot glue on here so that you know when you're finished you know with this it'll just pop all apart so you can actually use all your diapers and your little teddy bear so I'm just gonna put a little bit of hot glue on here and move this together out gluing my fingers on here and then just straighten it out a little bit however I think that's good you don't want to glue it to the diaper there satin around there and then you're gonna do the same thing with your blue and now this one I just want to make the end look a little bit better and you can take like a lighter or something and go across your ends so they don't fray but actually I'll do that with this one if you just take a lighter and you go just across the edges it's not too much or you melt it like I just did but just really fast and it kind of just melts your end together so it wasn't none of it will fray anymore alright so now we're just gonna take that oops put that right over top of the white and just do the same thing we're just gonna put a little bit actually you can glue the first end down on this one because this one you're gonna glue on to the the satin ribbon just move that one down in this center like so and then just put a little bit on the end of this one just when I made a little bit too long but that's alright and then you're just gonna want to straighten it out so that's all in the center here and covering up your rubber bands there and if you want you can add a little bit more hot glue here and there to hold there your blue ribbon so it stays nice in the center of the other ones but it should stay fine don't you get it everything where you want it oh I keep messing this side up here let me get this back down here where I want it okay and that is what this little centerpiece will be I'd stop messing it up like I said if you want you can just put a couple drops of glue on there to keep that right in the middle because it just doesn't seem to want to stay here for me right now okay so that is it for the little cake part now we're gonna take our dish here and I'm gonna put these on these are self-adhesive which is really nice so I'm just gonna peel this off and just put this right around the top edge here just to give a little something to the bottom so it's just not plain glass well like I said you can use a ribbon or whatever you want on here or you may just like it plain I don't know but I always like a little sparkle especially for like a party centerpiece and these were actually they came in rows of three so I just cut one row off of it and there's like a little lip there that you can see I don't know how good you can see it here but he uses your guide all right let's see don't they get my scissors in here there we go there and that just gives that little edge a little something pretty this is like a camera a little bit here there we go now if you really want to keep this like forever glued together you can use some of the UH what I did with it here it is you can use some e6000 just put a little East 6000 around the edge of your candlestick and just let that sit and then that'll have to sit for like 24 hours or more I usually do two days I don't know why it says 24 hours but just to make sure it's stuck real good I usually just let it soak for a couple days but I'm just gonna use hot glue on this one because I'm not gonna be keeping it like this after you know everything said and done and white it's gonna pop up port but if you want to keep them glued together use the e6000 mm-hmm so I'm gonna just take some of my hot glue here and put that around the edge of this to hold it these are very light and it's not really gonna pull it apart or anything because there's like no wait to center piece at all so there and that is our little stand for our little diaper cake all right so we're gonna put that there and then I'll go set that aside just cuz I think that's gonna be up too high I don't think looks camera is going to oh I just stuck these little gems to the table there we go let's see how oh we're gonna do is we're gonna take our little cake here and when you're a little bear you just wanna slip your balloon holder right down through the back of his ribbon just like so and then stick that down in the middle of that one that we what hole for and then he sits up there just pretty and then we're gonna take our little pin and if you want you could cut these off I think these kind of look cute on this one usually I take these off to use on different things but I'm just gonna leave that on there and then you can actually just stick this right into your little bear and then that can pop right off too and when you're all done and then have a nice little bigger so that right on the center there like so you have this cute little bow tie there we go just like that and then of course you're gonna want to I don't know if anybody you know what let me take this off of here one second so I can show you how this goes here you take your little little balloon holder you just take a balloon and you just stick it down hopefully don't pop this it's the only blue one I have I'll just stick it down in that side and then you just kind of wrap them up and down through the other ones and then it makes your balloons stand up nice and tall so after I get this all together I'm gonna move my camera so you guys can see it I'm just gonna stick that right back down in there and there you go and that is all you have to do and that's just fine if you just want to leave it sit on the table like this it would be super cute but I am gonna clean this up here and put them up on the stand and show you guys how cute this looks alright everybody there he is I know I got a lot of stuff going on in the background here but I really didn't have a blank wall I could just stick tall this long to you very tall but I think he's just adorable there's a little bow tie and then a little bling around the stand I love it on the stand I just think it looks so cute and then you have your balloon that attaches right there this is just so easy and the bloom stands up so nice I mean I'm sure this wouldn't be a great idea for an outdoor shower you know if it was windy or something it probably would not come over but for inside I think this would be perfect but that is it that is my little boy baby boy baby shower idea that I came up with for this week so like I said you can change it up you could use all pink and it would be super cute too so thanks so much for watching everybody I hope you all enjoyed this little project I will see you all next time have a great day everybody
