Convert Guitar to Midi with Melodyne / Arrange Strings for Guitar Players – Logic Pro X

Audio to Midi in logic Pro X Guitars to strings
using melodyne with chris combs Hey whats up guy. Chris Combs here with Broken
Bird Productions. This is a video converting guitar to midi and creating a String progression
out of it. As a guitar player, instead of using a keyboard,
I am going to use my guitar to record parts for the strings then use Melodyne to convert
the
audio to midi. Since I am more creative with the guitar it
is a more natural flow to create midi parts from my guitar. I recorded 3 different guitar tracks to build
the chords and chord progression. You can listen to the guitar tracks here. After I recorded the 3 guitar tracks I added
an instance of Melodyne to each guitar track. Transfered the audio into melodyne then exported
the audio as midi files by going into Melodyne and then going to settings>exort to midi. I then saved each midi file to my session
folder and imported the midi into Logic
Pro X Once i did this I cleaned up the midi and applied the appropriate instrument
orchestra strings. Now you can hear the final outcome accompanied
by drum loops and samples (by Woodshed Audio and IWant That Sound)
