Is it the next Instagram or the next
Snapchat? I don’t think so I think it’s gonna develop into its own unique type
of platform has it already overtaken Snapchat in user base I think yes but
I’m not too sure I’ll have to double-check that I’m gonna cover it
from a Content producer and then from a content creator perspective… from a
content viewer perspective so from a content viewer perspective is it highly
addictive? yes try it out download the app if you’re a marketer and just sit
there for an hour scrolling up up up up you realize that it can indeed play with
you in your neurotransmitters… your dopamine… levels to be exact and you then
realize exactly why it’s been able to captivate such a young demographic right
now you don’t… it doesn’t require a high attention span I don’t want to say that
the demographic has a low attention span but really doesn’t require a high
attention span and all you do is you scroll and the content is engaging
because it’s musically synchronized as well which produces a problem sort of a
difficulty for the content producer aspect of things from a Content producer
aspect of things will everybody be able to succeed on tik-tok definitely not why
because the content requirements at the given moment are a little bit more
complicated than LinkedIn where you could just sit down and talk or YouTube
where you could just sit down and talk things have to be musically synchronized
so the benchmark is a little bit higher industries that I see potential for for
marketing for tik-tok ecommerce musical products definitely it’s the place to be
if you do have any musical products and you want to gain brand awareness or even
conversions directly through a platform tik-tok is a place to be because music
fits directly into the platform and into the content style of whatever your
whatever you’re selling um you just have to get silly with the content that’s
really what I realize the people that perform best are the ones that can put
their ego aside get silly with the content get playful and they’ll
typically have the most followers is it like Vine I think so and to also answer
the question of is it like Vine many content producers expect it to fail
so they’re building a huge viewer base on Tik Tok to then be able to take it
directly on to their YouTube or their Instagram a lot of Viners did that so they created
a huge fan base on tik-tok relocated it onto YouTube and Instagram and they
they became influencers simple as that but with regards to the demographic it’s
interesting young of course so from an e-commerce perspective this
could also serve as a as an issue with regards to the processing payments online
because not everybody has a credit card from that demographic but the either way
there’s attention and the platform the algorithm is quite friendly a couple of
days ago I made a post that hit 20,000 organic views of dance material for a
client of mine along with music so the algorithm is hyper friendly but the
content benchmarks are a little bit higher…
