So in today’s show, we’re gonna talk about second chances. And man, are we kicking it off with an amazing love story. Our guests today are marrying each other for the second time next week and we’re giving the bride-to-be a head-to-toe makeover, just in time for her next big day. Let’s catch you up on their story. Watch this. There’s a nice picture. Yeah. I’m Lori Aigen, this is Jeff Aigen, we’re from Bowling Green, Ohio. And we’re about to get married for the second time. We were married in 1989. We were married for almost 25 years. And we had eight beautiful children together. Just the stress of having to raise eight kids and everything else, things got away from us. Sadly, we did wind up divorced. We were divorced for three years, and during that time each of us started looking at ourselves. I came around to understanding what the solution wasn’t anyone or anything, it was me. I called Lori and asked her if we could meet, found that she was always my best friend and that kinda reignited that, I guess. And then, eventually, that led to dating and here we sit. This past Christmas we had a family get together and Jeff sat me in front of the group and he proposed again. Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh yes, yes, yes, I’m so glad I just screamed and fell into his arms and it was the happiest moment of my entire life. We get a do over and not many people do. Alright y’all don’t (beep) it up this time. (laughing) I’ve done an awful lot of work at learning to love myself and to become the best person that I can be but I’ve never done a lot of work on the outside. With eight kids I was busy, I worked as a nurse long hours and I never really put much effort into my appearance. I feel like I’m a beautiful person but I’ve never felt pretty. And I thought this might be that chance to feel pretty on the outside. Especially, prepairing for my wedding, I’d like my hair and my face to look really nice for the wedding, for him and for myself. I want her to feel good about it and that’s what will make it look good to me. I love you I love you, too. She is done with Kian and Kian, how did it go? It was so good. It’s emotional, right? Because it’s such a sweet story. Actually, earlier when you were showing the video you were crying, then she was crying He got worked up, He got worked up and it’s his story. Jeff, you ready? I’m ready. He’s like “I don’t know… yeah” I’m ready Okay, that’s Lori before and she is a hard working mom of eight, a nurse A nurse, and boy, does she deserve this I love this. In every way shape and form there is. (audience clapping) And she wants to feel good about herself, is she happy? She’s very happy She’s very happy. Are you guys ready? Let’s see her. Come on out, Lor. (upbeat music) (audience cheers) What a dress Lor, what a dress Lori, your hair is stunning, do you feel pretty, sweetheart? I feel beyond pretty, I feel exquisite. Thank you so much. So happy for you.
