Welcome to Expert Village. This is Kim Brown.
So this is all-purpose color corrector. This has a blend. It is a concealer, but it is
more of a mat and it has a blend of all three colors in it. So it is going to cover up blemishes
really well and also works really well on the eyelids because it is not too creamy.
It is more mat and it helps to hold your eye shadows on so close your eyes. You can apply
this with your fingers also. I just usually use a brush and just blend it really well,
just down to the lash line. You want to make sure you always get everything down the lash
line, your eye colors, your eye liner, everything because you don’t want any of that white
line from your lash line into your eyelid. I am going to make sure it is really blended.
I am going to use my finger just to make sure it’s really blended. You always want to
use your ring finger. It has the less strength of any of your fingers so you are going to
want to be really gentle on your skin; under eyes you know you go in if you are going to
rub in, but I mostly pack around or stipple, it is called. If you see any creasing later
on your eyes before you get your eye shadow, then you just need to blend a little bit more.
Sometimes that happens because you have got your foundation on there and then you have
got your concealer and the only other place she has got a little bit of dark circles around
her eyes, so we will use a neutral concealer. You will be doing this yourself most likely
or if you are working on someone else, just have them look up, so you can get in right
underneath the lash line there. The concealer is really important. I think it is the step
that gets left out a lot of times but it really adds a lot to your whole makeup look. It brightens
the eyes and she doesn’t have any blemishes on her face so we don’t have any others
to cover today. But if we were covering it, you would use the color protector that I had
first and wherever the blemishes you would just dab it on there and then use your finger.
The warmth of your finger helps it to get into your skin and just blend really well
and so then you can just blend it out and then you will powder it when you are all finished.
